LITERATURE: SHAPING OUR FUTURE

     Poems, short stories, essays, novels and many more…. Isn’t  it that literature took a big part in the lives of filipino people? We enjoyed reading them. We make our analogies about them. And we relate them to our personal lives for us to understand it more. Literature is a treasure. It is something that we cannot buy for even a millon dollars. It is a thing that has been with us in the past and will continue living with us in the future. In short, reading them has been our hobby that leaves a mark in our personality. But the question is: is literature shaping our future?

     Ten… twenty… thirthy years from now.. What are we going to be? We may have more advance technologies. We may have high-tech gadgets such as more advanced computers and cellphones. But will literature remain? Of course it will. Literature will be with us. Why? Because it is shaping our future. It is the one that predicts our future and the one that reminds us on how the past has been. Otherwise, it helps us to see how the future will be.

     Literature plkayed an important role in our lives. It adds color, adventure, thrill, and suspense in every lines of poems. It gives excitement in every paragraph of an essay. Most important is that, it gives lesson that we can use in each days of our wonderful life. Let it be the one that will shape our future. Let it be the one that that will help us in enhancing ourselves. Let it stand like a mirror for what will happen tomorrow. Let literature be our guide in order to achieve our goals and have a successful life. Let literature be our key to success. Let us remember that literature is shaping the brightest and biggest future for us!
